First of all, I just want to do a quick congratulatory shout-out to blogmate and friend John Jakala--as well as his wife Binh, who really did most of the work when you think about it--on the birth of his daughter Anabelle.
To Anabelle:
"May you never cease your growing and your learning as you grow.
May the things that you discover be the things you want to know.
May you gain in strength through sorrow and may all your love be true.
May you turn your hand to something that you really want to do."
--Al Grierson, "Til The Circle is Complete"
Now, two quick links:
• MoCCA has finally posted the panel schedule for this year's MoCCA Art Festival, and now I want to make it a whole weekend trip so I attend the Clowes and Lethem discussion.
• Kevin Melrose has a wonderful piece that looks at a few newspaper articles focusing on science fiction in film and television.
This will be the last lazy linkblog thing for a while. I'm hoping to figure out a way to write a whole bunch of reviews before I head off to Cape May, but we'll see if that happens--taking a vacation right at the end of sweeps means that this week is going to be completely hectic and busy.
